A dancer named The Punisher discovered his client by accident. He turned on a hotel TV and saw, “Welcome Sean Combs.”
Sharay Hayes testified that he was paid for sex acts. These scenes were supposed to be “sexy and wild.” He mentioned Sean Combs’ girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, was also there. A man sat in the corner, watching.
At first, Mr. Hayes didn’t know who the man was. But when he saw the hotel welcome message, he realized it was Sean Combs.
Mr. Combs wore a face cover. Hayes was told not to speak to him.
They were in a hotel at Trump Tower. Ms. Ventura opened the door in a bathrobe.
The room had sheets over the furniture. Baby oil bottles were in small bowls on the floor.
Another man, Daniel Phillip, said he was also paid to have sex with Cassie while Mr. Combs watched.
Cassie’s mother, Regina Ventura, testified as well. She claimed Mr. Combs hurt her daughter.
An old email from Cassie was shown. She wrote that Mr. Combs made threats. He said he would share sex tapes and mentioned someone would hurt her, but not him. He claimed he’d be gone when it happened.
The court examined photos of Cassie. They showed bruises on her back and legs. Her mother stated Mr. Combs had beaten her.
Mr. Combs once asked for $20,000, claiming he was angry about money he spent on Cassie.
Cassie’s parents took out a loan to pay him. They sent the money to a bank account. Days later, the money reappeared. No one explained why.
The court also heard from Mr. Combs’ former assistant. The defense tried to show he wasn’t telling the whole truth.
