Two men were arrested after a hit-and-run that hurt a police officer.
The officer was walking in Bristol when a white Ford Transit van hit him. He was trying to stop the van from driving in a bus lane.
The van dragged the officer a short way along A4 Bath Road near Totterdown Bridge. Then it drove off without stopping, said Avon and Somerset Police.
Police later arrested two men, aged 18 and 23. They were held on suspicion of trying to cause serious harm and not stopping after the crash.
"Luckily, the officer was not badly hurt," a police spokesperson said.
Police are asking anyone who saw what happened or has video to call Avon and Somerset Police on 101.
