Twelve people were hurt in a knife attack at the main train station in Hamburg, Germany.
Three people are in critical condition. Three others are badly hurt.
Police arrested a 39-year-old woman. A large police operation is going on.
The attack happened around 6:00 p.m. local time on Friday.
A fire department worker told AFP news that 12 people were injured. Some have life-threatening wounds.
Hamburg Police wrote on X that one person used a knife to hurt several people at the station.
They said the suspect was caught. Police later said she acted alone.
Local news says the attack happened near platforms 13 and 14. A train was at one of the platforms when it happened. That area is close to a busy road.
Some victims got help while still on the trains.
Photos from the scene show many emergency workers and vehicles. Barriers were set up to block the view of the injured.
One photo shows a man being taken away on a stretcher by medics.
A video online shows police walking the suspect off the platform. Her hands were behind her back. She was put into a police car.
Hamburg Central Station is one of the busiest in Germany. About 550,000 people use it each day. It is very crowded on Friday evenings.
This is the latest in a number of recent attacks in Germany.
