Captain Son Heung-min joked that he is a Tottenham "legend" after they won their first big trophy in 17 years.
Spurs beat Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final in Bilbao on Wednesday.
This was the first time 32-year-old Son, who joined Spurs in 2015, won a trophy at club or international level after losing three finals.
"Let's say I'm a legend. Why not?" he told TNT Sports.
"Seventeen years — no one did it, so with great players, I am probably a legend at the club.
"This is what I always dreamed of. Today it happened. I am the happiest man in the world."
In August, Son told BBC Sport he could not be a legend until he won a trophy with Spurs.
Son has played 133 times for South Korea. He joined Spurs for about £22 million after scoring 29 goals in 87 games for Bayer Leverkusen.
He came off the bench in the 67th minute against United. It was his 454th game for Spurs.
South Korea lost the 2015 Asian Cup final. Spurs lost the 2019 Champions League final and the 2021 Carabao Cup final.
"I felt the pressure," Son said.
"I wanted it so much. For the last seven days, I dreamed about this game every night. Now it happened, and I can sleep easy."
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou praised Son, the club’s longest-serving player.
"We have had great players here — Harry [Kane] is one — but they never had a day like this," Postecoglou said.
"I wanted a day like this for Sonny because he tried hard for 10 years to feel this and it did not work before."
Harry Kane won his first big trophy this month when Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga.
"We had a great friendship and teamwork, so I was happy he won his first trophy," Son said.
"Harry, we won too."
